TRANSMISSION 2009 `ANCIENT MYSTERIES`

TRANSMISSION the ‘beast’ amongst the Czech indoor events and the second largest indoor event in the Czech Republic has for the last years attracted ten thousands of electronic music / trance fans to the Czech Capital Prague. In this time period Transmission has become a synonymous for one of the best dance events the Czech Republic has to offer that stands on his own.   

The 14th of November 2009 United Music presents in Prague’s O2 arena (one of the most modern multifunctional venue in Europe) the 2009 edition of TRANSMISSION and the theme for this year will be ‘Ancient Mysteries’. With an expectation of around 15.000 visitors, not only from the Czech Republic, but from all around the world, United Music is preparing to make out of this years edition even a bigger success as the last years and all signs are telling it will be another unforgettable high light of the year that will be remembered for a long time. United Music has secured for this edition some of the major players in the dance scene and the line up for this year consists the artists, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Menno de Jong, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Gareth Emery and San. Besides these artists another highlight for Transmission will be the DJ/VJ show from the Dutch award winning VJ team Vision Impossible, who are also responsible for the trailer and all show/intro movies for the artists.  

One of the headliners, Miami based Markus Schulz can almost be seen as a Transmission resident and is one of the most popular DJ’s in the Czech Republic. When Markus performs in the Czech Republic, he is able to create an amazing and unforgettable atmosphere every time. With his recent hits produced under his alias Dakota, like Chinook, Roxy, Johnny the Fox and under his own name, Do You Dream, Markus Schulz has made a clear statement that he is one of the greatest producers of this time and in combination with his phenomenal DJ skills it is a guarantee Markus Schulz will show once again why he is such a beloved and admired artist in the Czech Republic.  The next headliner is the Dutch artist Sander Van Doorn, who is also among one of the most desirable DJ’s in the Czech Republic.  With his latest hits produced under his alias Purple Haze – Bliksem,  Sam Sharp – Roundabout, and remixes made for SIA’s - the girl you lost to cocaine and for the Killers - Space man, Sander van Doorn has once more made it pretty clear and set him self on top of the game. Giuseppe Ottaviani is without doubt one of the most talented and influential artists on the Vandit roster. Giuseppe Ottaviani has just released his new artists album GO and we can be sure he will show at Transmission why his new artists album GO has received such a positive feedback. The talented Dutchman Menno de Jong, front man of the Intuitions record label is another rising DJ star and a guarantee the hottest trance tunes will be played at Transmission. From the UK, DJ and producer Gareth Emery will come to Prague to perform for the first time in the Czech Republic. With his latest productions such like Exposure and Metropolis we can look forward to see him perform at Transmission.  As last but not least the Dutch producer and DJ San who has recently big successes with his latest productions like Paradox and Insane will come to Prague to complete the line up for Transmission 2009.
